About the Role
We are looking for a friendly and proactive Shop Assistant to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with people and want to develop their skills in retail and customer service. You will help create a welcoming environment for all customers while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the shop.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a professional and approachable manner
- Provide information about products and services
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the shop floor and displays
- Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Restock shelves and ensure products are properly labelled
- Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or discrepancies
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
- Handle customer feedback or complaints politely and professionally
Skills & Requirements
- Ability to work well in a team and independently when required
- Friendly, approachable, and positive attitude
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not essential (training provided)
