About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within a school environment. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys creating a clean, safe, and welcoming space for staff and students.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in line with recycling procedures
- Ensure all areas are tidy, organised, and presentable
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report any issues or shortages
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential (full training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of work
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable, organised, and proactive approach
- Physically capable of handling cleaning tasks (lifting, bending, standing)
