Pay: £14 – £18 per hour
Hours: 20–40 hours per week
We are looking for a friendly and efficient Waiter/Waitress to join a fast-paced hospitality team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and delivering excellent customer service in a restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus
- Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS system
- Serve meals and beverages promptly and professionally
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the dining experience
- Handle special requests and dietary needs carefully
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness of tables and service areas
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist with table setup and clearing
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of restaurant experience (required)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good organisational and multitasking abilities
- Basic maths skills for handling payments
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Must have the right to work in the UK
