About the Role
Polaris, a commercial cleaning company based in Altrincham, Cheshire, is seeking a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards at a school in the Chester area.
Key Responsibilities
- Vacuuming carpeted areas
- Sweeping and mopping hard floors
- Emptying and sanitising bins
- Cleaning up spillages as needed
- Wiping desks, chairs, and skirting boards
- Cleaning toilets and restocking toiletries
- Cleaning doors, windows, and communal areas
- Monitoring cleaning supplies and reporting low stock
- Reporting any hazards or maintenance issues to the supervisor
Requirements
- At least 1 year of cleaning experience (required)
- Enhanced DBS certificate (preferred) or willingness to obtain one
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
