21 Transport is expanding and looking to add experienced Bus Drivers to our team. The role involves operating school transport services as well as local bus routes in the York area.
Position Details
- Job Type: Permanent
- Pay: £15 per hour / £19,000 per year (£1,583 per month for school run role)
- Shift Pattern: 12-hour shift (7:00am – 7:00pm) with 2 hours break (1 hour unpaid)
- Location: York

Role Overview
We are seeking responsible and reliable drivers to safely transport school pupils to and from their destinations. You will represent 21 Transport and ensure all journeys are completed safely, punctually, and in accordance with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport pupils along assigned routes
- Follow school schedules and designated routes
- Conduct daily vehicle safety checks before trips
- Maintain accurate logs and reports
- Comply with all driving regulations and safety standards
Requirements
- Previous coach/bus driving experience required
- Clean driving record
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Category D Licence (required)
- Must be legally authorised to work in the United Kingdom
