We are looking for a reliable School Cleaner to join a friendly school team near Upton, Chester. This is a great part-time opportunity with consistent weekday hours.
💷 Pay: £12.71 per hour
🕒 Hours: 12.5 hours per week
📅 Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM
📍 Location: Chester CH2
About the Role
You will be working as part of a professional cleaning team, ensuring the school remains clean, safe, and welcoming for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning classrooms, offices, toilets, and communal areas
- Vacuuming carpets and mopping hard floors
- Emptying bins and handling waste safely
- Wiping desks, doors, windows, and surfaces
- Cleaning and restocking toilet areas
- Spot cleaning spills and accidents
- Checking cleaning supplies and reporting low stock
- Reporting any hazards to supervisors or caretakers
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience (minimum 1 year preferred)
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply for one)
- A responsible and detail-focused attitude
