Role Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Shop Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service while supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, helpful service
- Assist customers with product enquiries and purchases
- Maintain store cleanliness and ensure shelves are well-organized and stocked
- Receive, unpack, and manage incoming deliveries
- Display products attractively and ensure stock levels are maintained
- Operate the till and process transactions accurately
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet sales goals
- Handle customer concerns professionally and efficiently
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail, especially when handling cash and transactions
