Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at our traditional pub and hotel. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards and enjoys providing excellent service to guests. You will work both independently and alongside a team to ensure a welcoming environment throughout the property.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to a high standard
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively
- Report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly
- Restock linens, toiletries, and cleaning supplies as required
- Respond to guest requests in a professional and friendly manner
- Uphold high hygiene and cleanliness standards at all times
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Customer service skills with a positive attitude
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
- Must have a good level of English
Working Hours
- Weekend position (6–8 hours per shift)
- Overtime available during busy periods and to cover holidays
