Job Purpose
As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring a consistent and high-quality guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms according to brand standards
- Ensure rooms are well-presented, hygienic, and fully maintained
- Report maintenance issues in guest rooms and hotel areas using KnowCross
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas and back-of-house spaces
- Ensure exterior areas (entrances, loading bays, etc.) are clean and presentable
- Manage delivery, collection, and storage of linen and terry items
- Stock housekeeping supplies on guest floors and in storage areas
- Keep housekeeping storage areas clean and organised
- Support the housekeeping team with additional duties when required
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures, including COSHH regulations
- Handle cleaning materials safely and correctly
- Attend required training sessions
- Maintain a positive, friendly, and professional attitude at all times
- Provide excellent guest service and respond to requests promptly
