Overview
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Gardener to join our team, with a focus on landscape maintenance and horticultural care. The successful candidate will have hands-on gardening experience, a strong understanding of plant care, and the ability to work effectively with both hand and power tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve gardens, lawns, and landscaped areas through planting, pruning, weeding, and fertilising
- Operate hand tools such as secateurs, spades, and rakes for routine maintenance tasks
- Use power tools including hedge trimmers, lawnmowers, and leaf blowers safely and effectively
- Ensure outdoor spaces are kept clean, healthy, and well-presented throughout the seasons
Requirements
- Proven experience in gardening or horticulture
- Good knowledge of plant species and their care requirements
- Competence in using both hand tools and garden machinery
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must have appropriate outdoor clothing for varying weather
- A valid driver’s licence is desirable
- A genuine passion for gardening and working in natural environments
