Salary: £13.24 per hour
Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, between 5:00 AM and 7:00 PM
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Van Driver to join our growing team. As the face of the company, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service by ensuring products are collected and delivered safely, accurately, and on time across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect products efficiently and on schedule.
- Complete daily vehicle safety inspections.
- Carry out basic vehicle maintenance, including checking oil levels and replacing bulbs where required.
- Report vehicle defects or equipment issues to the Depot Manager.
- Ensure all goods are loaded securely and checked for accuracy and quality.
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately and return documentation promptly.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures, company policies, and risk assessments.
- Communicate any delivery issues, customer feedback, or discrepancies to management.
- Support colleagues and undertake additional duties as required.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid UK Driving Licence held for at least 12 months.
- Maximum of 6 penalty points on your licence.
- Good knowledge of UK roads and routes.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
- Able to work independently and use initiative.
- Flexible with start and finish times to meet business needs.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good attention to detail with basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Calm and professional under pressure.
- Committed to maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
