We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Assistant to join our friendly team based at our Falcon Lodge premises in Sutton Coldfield. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of laundry care.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, iron, and hang laundry items.
- Operate commercial washing, drying, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect garments for stains or damage and carry out appropriate stain treatment when required.
- Assist customers in person and over the phone with enquiries and service requests.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment by following all health and safety procedures.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure an efficient daily workflow.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a laundry or similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Friendly communication and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work 1 in every 3 Saturdays (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM) and provide holiday cover when required.
