A great opportunity is available for an experienced Kitchen Porter to join a busy hospitality team at Gatwick Airport. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Salary & Shifts
- £13.90 per hour
- Shift pattern: 4 days on, 2 days off
- Working hours:
- 4:30 AM – 1:30 PM
- 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM

Key Responsibilities
- Clean kitchen equipment and work areas to high hygiene standards.
- Operate industrial dishwashers and glass washers.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste according to regulations.
- Transport kitchen supplies and equipment as required.
- Assist with deep cleaning and maintain a clean working environment.
- Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter is essential.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Positive, flexible, and reliable attitude.
- Strong understanding of customer service.
- Lounge or airport hospitality experience is an advantage.
- Must be able to provide 5 years of UK employment history and UK address history.
