About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Pub Cleaner to join our team at The Orange Tree, a welcoming pub and boutique hotel located just a short walk from Richmond Station and beside the famous Orange Tree Theatre.
As a Pub Cleaner, you will play an essential role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests and team. You will work independently to ensure all public areas of the pub and hotel are cleaned to the highest standards before each day’s service.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all public areas, including the bar, restaurant, toilets, corridors, entrances, and guest spaces.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitise floors and surfaces.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste safely.
- Replenish cleaning products and toiletries where required.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and hygiene standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Ensure the pub and hotel remain clean, tidy, and ready to welcome guests.

- A strong eye for detail and high cleaning standards.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing a welcoming environment.
