About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Amazon Delivery Driver to join our team in Birmingham. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering parcels safely and on time while providing excellent customer service.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in delivery driving, logistics, or warehousing who enjoy working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles while following all road traffic regulations.
- Load and unload parcels, including handling heavier items when required.
- Plan efficient delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Deliver parcels to customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Obtain proof of delivery and maintain accurate delivery records.
- Complete routine vehicle safety checks.
- Communicate with the dispatch team regarding deliveries and any issues encountered.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Valid UK driving licence appropriate for the vehicle.
- Previous delivery driving or logistics experience is preferred.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Physically fit and able to lift and move parcels.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
