About the Role
We are looking for reliable and professional Delivery Drivers to join our team in Mitcham.
You will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, completing deliveries on time and providing excellent customer service.
Previous delivery experience is not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a car or van while following all road and safety regulations.
- Deliver goods to customers promptly and professionally.
- Load and unload packages, including some heavy lifting.
- Check delivery orders and collect signatures or proof of delivery.
- Maintain accurate delivery records.
- Carry out routine vehicle checks and report any faults.
- Communicate with dispatch teams and customers regarding deliveries.
- Resolve delivery issues professionally when they arise.
- Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition.
- Follow company procedures and health and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Valid driving licence suitable for the vehicle being used.
- Access to your own car or van.
- Ability to safely handle and lift goods when required.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Strong time-management and organisational abilities.
- Good knowledge of traffic laws and road safety.
- Reliable and responsible approach to work.
- Delivery experience is helpful but not required.
