About the Role
Aramark UK is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Barista to join its team at the Accenture site in London.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys coffee, hospitality and delivering excellent customer service. You will prepare a range of hot and cold beverages, serve customers at the till and help ensure the café operates smoothly throughout the day.
Previous barista experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality hot and cold drinks according to company standards.
- Create and develop your latte art and coffee-making skills.
- Operate the till and process cash and card payments accurately.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Upsell products and different sizes where appropriate.
- Serve food, cakes and other products while following food safety procedures.
- Keep the café and dining areas clean, tidy and hygienic.
- Complete cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, rubbish disposal and general unit cleaning.
- Restock products and rotate stock correctly.
- Check that stock is appropriately dated, presented and available throughout the day.
- Follow all health, safety and company procedures.
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine interest in coffee and hospitality.
- A positive attitude and excellent customer-service skills.
- Previous barista experience is an advantage but not required.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- You must have lived in the UK continuously for the past 5 years.
- You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
- You must be able to successfully complete the required security vetting and DBS checks.
