About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Baker/Cook/Catering Assistant to join the team at a busy Bistro & Tea Room in Otford.
This is an opportunity to work in a welcoming environment while supporting a charity that helps make a difference to people living with terminal or life-limiting conditions.
The role offers a varied mix of baking, cooking, food preparation, cleaning and customer service. You may also provide additional support to the catering team when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the charity positively.
- Prepare and serve food and meals.
- Bake and assist with food preparation.
- Keep the bistro and kitchen clean, tidy and hygienic.
- Clean kitchen equipment, work surfaces, floors and walls.
- Complete basic food hygiene and preparation tasks.
- Load and unload the dishwasher.
- Ensure food is attractively displayed and presented.
- Support and work alongside volunteers and the wider catering team.
- Follow company policies and maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.
