About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Barista to join our busy and welcoming team in Manchester.
The successful candidate will have previous barista experience and a passion for providing excellent customer service. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality hot and cold drinks, serving customers efficiently, and helping to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks.
- Take customer orders and provide friendly, professional service.
- Ensure drinks are prepared consistently and to a high standard.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
- Assist with preparing snacks and light meals when required.
- Keep the counter, equipment, and work areas clean and organised.
- Work efficiently during busy periods to minimise customer waiting times.
- Support colleagues and contribute to smooth day-to-day service.
- Manage tasks effectively and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Previous barista experience is essential.
- Experience working in a busy customer-service or hospitality environment is desirable.
- Basic food preparation skills are an advantage.
- Strong time-management and organisational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Positive, friendly, and willing to learn.
