Key Responsibilities

- Clean and sanitize kitchens, bathrooms, sinks, toilets, countertops, and household appliances.
- Complete laundry duties, including washing, folding, and organizing clothes, towels, and linens when required.
- Replenish toiletries, cleaning materials, paper products, and other essential supplies.
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely and correctly, following all relevant health and safety guidelines.
- Follow specific cleaning instructions and respond promptly to clients’ individual requests.
- Inspect cleaned areas to ensure they meet the required standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Identify and report maintenance problems or damage when necessary.
- Work efficiently to complete assigned duties within the expected time.
- Maintain a professional and helpful attitude when dealing with clients and team members.
- Ensure all assigned spaces remain clean, organized, and welcoming.
Requirements and Skills
The ideal candidate should have the following skills and qualities:
- Previous experience in domestic, janitorial, or commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Experience in hotels or the hospitality industry would be an advantage, but it is not essential.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining excellent cleaning standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of appropriate cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and comply with health and safety procedures.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and carry out cleaning duties throughout the shift.
- A reliable, organized, and hardworking approach.
- Basic cooking skills would be beneficial for preparing light refreshments or assisting with simple meal-related tasks when required.
