Hours: Part-time, minimum 11.5 hours per week
- Friday: 9:15 – 17:00
- Saturday: 8:45 – 13:00

A World of Time Limited has been a trusted local independent business for over 18 years, specializing in the repair, servicing, and sale of watches and clocks. We combine traditional craftsmanship with excellent customer care and are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Shop Assistant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist customers with enquiries about repairs, servicing, and products
- Process repair requests: log details, issue receipts, and update customers on progress
- Handle cash and card transactions for repairs, sales, and replacement parts
- Maintain a clean and organized shop floor and displays
- Assist technicians by preparing items for service and packing completed orders
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage repair booking schedules
- Provide basic guidance on watch and clock care
What We’re Looking For:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and patience, especially when handling small items
- Basic numeracy for handling payments and repair costs
- Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work Saturdays
- Interest in watches/clocks is a plus (no prior repair experience needed – full training provided)
- Ability to follow detailed procedures for logging repairs and customer records
