Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our retail team and help deliver an exceptional shopping experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers in a fast-paced retail environment and is interested in developing a career in retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by welcoming and assisting customers in store
- Drive sales by recommending products and identifying add-on sales opportunities
- Process transactions accurately, including cash and card payments
- Maintain high visual merchandising standards and keep the shop floor clean and organised
- Ensure shelves are well-stocked and products are displayed according to brand guidelines
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximise sales opportunities
- Assist customers with questions and resolve queries professionally
- Work collaboratively with the store team to meet sales targets
Performance Objectives
- Help the store achieve or exceed monthly sales targets
- Contribute to KPIs such as conversion rate, units per transaction (UPT), and average transaction value (ATV)
- Maintain excellent customer satisfaction and service standards
- Ensure stock on the shop floor is fully replenished and organised
Skills & Experience
- Positive attitude and strong interest in customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence interacting with customers and building rapport
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
