Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and dedicated Dry Cleaner to manage and operate a small dry-cleaning shop. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean and welcoming environment for customers while ensuring garments are cleaned and handled with the highest level of care. Previous dry-cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential for motivated candidates willing to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect garments for stains or damage before cleaning.
- Perform spotting and stain treatment where required.
- Operate dry-cleaning machines safely and efficiently.
- Clean and handle garments carefully according to care labels.
- Press and finish garments to a high standard.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the shop.
- Restock supplies such as hangers, stain removers, and cleaning materials.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in dry cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning and pressing tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
- Flexible and willing to adapt to changing schedules or duties.
