MAPLE is a new brunch café opening in Coventry this March, and we are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting chefs during busy service hours, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and assisting with basic food preparation. It is a great opportunity to grow within an expanding restaurant group.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs during busy brunch service.
- Prepare ingredients and perform basic food preparation tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.
- Wash utensils, dishes, and kitchen equipment.
- Support stock rotation and help with deliveries.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a café or restaurant kitchen is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexible availability for part-time hours.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
