An immediate opportunity has opened for a Minibus Driver to support our day centre service, transporting vulnerable adults safely to and from our care facility.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for driving a 9-seater minibus, ensuring clients are transported safely and comfortably between their homes and the day centre. This includes morning pick-ups, afternoon drop-offs, and occasional additional trips such as excursions or medical appointments.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport service users between home and day centre
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks
- Report and assist with any vehicle faults or maintenance needs
- Support occasional overtime journeys (outings and appointments)
- Ensure a safe, respectful, and caring environment for passengers
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence with D1 entitlement
- Minimum 2 years driving experience
- Age 25+ (insurance requirement)
- DBS check required
- Reliable, responsible, and caring attitude
- Good communication skills (English preferred)
Job Details
- Pay: From £12.71 per hour
- Hours: 20–25 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- Shifts:
- 8:00am – 10:30am
- 2:00pm – 4:30pm
- Location: 21 Cromwell Road, Manchester M30 0QT
