Introduction

The Housekeeper plays a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across our properties, helping to ensure an excellent living experience for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness across all areas of the building, including rooms, suites, communal spaces, hallways, entrances, and outdoor areas
- Carry out general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing
- Clean kitchens thoroughly, including appliances, work surfaces, ovens, hobs, and fridges
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, tiles, and fixtures
- Ensure all rooms meet required cleanliness standards and are properly checked
- Identify and report any damages, maintenance issues, or shortages
- Respond professionally and politely to reasonable guest or student requests and concerns
- Monitor and report stock levels of cleaning supplies and assist with reordering when needed
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies at all times
- Support the company’s commitment to providing a positive student living experience
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience, ideally in hospitality or student accommodation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with frequent turnover of rooms
- Good communication and a customer-focused attitude
- Professional, reliable, and trustworthy approach to work
- A driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred if working across multiple sites (mileage covered)

- Comply with HMO regulations and all housing compliance requirements
