About the Role
We are looking for a Laundry Assistant to join our friendly care home team. You will play an important role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and ensuring residents’ clothing and linens are clean, well-presented, and well cared for.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash, dry, iron, and repair residents’ clothing and linens as required
- Maintain high laundry and hygiene standards throughout the home
- Manage and organise linen stocks for daily use
- Ensure all tasks are completed to a consistently high standard
- Work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to work independently
About You
- Previous laundry or cleaning experience is helpful but not essential (full training provided)
- Good communication skills
- Able to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
- Energetic, reliable, and hardworking
- Flexible and able to work both independently and within a team
Additional Information
All applicants must provide two satisfactory references and obtain an enhanced DBS (or PVG) check.
In England, full COVID-19 vaccination is required for this role.
