About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the NHS Laundry Service based at the Glan Clwyd Hospital site in Rhyl, North Wales. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Laundry Assistant to work within a busy production environment that processes linen for hospitals and healthcare facilities across North Wales.
You will play an important role in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of linen, helping maintain high standards of hygiene and service for our healthcare partners.
Key Responsibilities
As a Laundry Assistant, you will work across different areas of the laundry operation, including:
- Receiving and sorting soiled and infectious linen
- Operating within the wash house area
- Working in calendaring (pressing/finishing) processes
- Dry folding clean linen
- Packing and preparing linen for dispatch
- Distributing clean linen to customers
You will be expected to work flexibly across all sections of the laundry as required.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:

- A strong team player with a positive attitude
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable, but not essential. Welsh and English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
