Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and efficient Coffee Bar Assistant to join our busy and welcoming team at our café. You will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service while preparing and serving high-quality hot and cold beverages in a fast-paced environment.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to build a career in the hospitality industry. Full training will be provided, although previous experience is a plus.

Pay: From £12.21 per hour

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages to company standards
- Greet customers warmly and take orders in a polite, professional manner
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the till system
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar, equipment, and customer areas
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
- Restock ingredients and supplies to ensure smooth service
- Assist with simple food preparation, such as sandwiches and snacks
- Work efficiently during busy periods to ensure quick and accurate service
- Support team members to maintain a positive and organised work environment
What We’re Looking For
- Previous barista or food service experience is helpful but not required
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic numeracy for handling payments
- Awareness of food safety standards (training can be provided)
- Ability to stay organised and work well under pressure
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
