About the Role

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting cash and valuables from customer locations while following strict security procedures and maintaining the highest standards of customer service and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete scheduled deliveries and collections within designated timeframes.
- Follow trip schedules and security procedures accurately.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical or security concerns.
- Safely load and unload consignments, ensuring accuracy at all times.
- Maintain professional driving standards and represent the company positively.
- Wear company uniform and required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Respond appropriately to emergencies or security incidents in accordance with company procedures.
- Participate in training and development programmes.
- Support the wider team by undertaking additional reasonable duties when required.
Pay and Benefits
- Starting pay: £14.87 per hour
- After 6 months: £15.17 per hour
- After 12 months: £15.47 per hour

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid UK driving licence.
- Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
- Good numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines.
- A customer-focused and security-conscious approach.
- Physical fitness to lift and transport heavy items.
Previous driving experience and basic IT skills are advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Security and Compliance Requirements
Due to the nature of the role, successful candidates must:
- Pass criminal record, identity, and credit checks.
- Provide a verifiable 10-year employment, education, or unemployment history.
- Be willing to undergo airport-style security searches when entering and leaving company premises.
- Complete a medical review, which may include an occupational health assessment.
An SIA licence is desirable but not essential.
