About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Laundry Assistant to join our friendly, small team at our Falcon Lodge premises. This is a varied role involving all aspects of the laundry process, while delivering excellent customer service both in person and over the phone.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, iron, and hang laundry items to a high standard.
- Operate commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines.
- Inspect garments for stains or damage and apply appropriate stain treatments when required.
- Provide a professional, friendly, and personalised service to customers, responding to enquiries in person and by telephone.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment by following all health and safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure an efficient and organised workflow.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous laundry or similar experience is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided.
- A positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Friendly communication and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work 1 in 3 Saturdays (9:00 am – 12:00 pm) and provide holiday cover when required.
