About the Role
We are looking for a responsible and safety-focused School Bus Driver to provide reliable transportation for students. In this role, you will ensure children travel safely to and from school while maintaining a positive and professional environment on every journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive a school bus on assigned routes while following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Carry out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus safely.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, school staff, and dispatchers.
- Keep the bus clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
- Report mechanical faults or safety concerns promptly.
- Follow emergency procedures and all school transportation safety policies.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a passenger endorsement.
- Previous professional driving experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of vehicle inspections and basic maintenance.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Excellent driving skills with a strong commitment to safety.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Experience in delivery driving or similar driving roles is an advantage.
