About the Role
We are looking for a caring, energetic, and reliable Nanny/Housekeeper to join a private family home in Clapham.
This role combines childcare with light household duties. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing attentive care to a 6-month-old baby while helping to keep the home clean, tidy, and organised.
The ideal person will be proactive, trustworthy, organised, and confident caring for young infants.
Key Responsibilities
Childcare
- Provide attentive and loving care for a 6-month-old infant
- Take the baby outdoors regularly and encourage plenty of fresh air and activity
- Go for walks with the baby in a pram, including around the local common
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for the child
- Follow appropriate safety and childcare practices at all times
Housekeeping
- Iron shirts and clothing
- Load and unload the dishwasher
- Fold and organise clean laundry
- Hoover the ground-floor areas
- Help maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming home
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar nanny/housekeeping role
- Previous experience caring for an infant is essential
- Excellent spoken English and communication skills
- Energetic and physically active, with the ability to walk regularly while pushing a pram
- Reliable, organised, and responsible
- Must be able to work in person in Clapham
- Ideally located within approximately 30 minutes of Clapham
