About the Role
Dorchester Collection is looking for a dedicated and detail-focused Floor Housekeeper to join its Housekeeping team in Mayfair, London.
The Floor Housekeeper plays an important role in maintaining exceptional hotel standards. The position involves supervising and supporting the housekeeping team, responding to guest requests and ensuring rooms and guest areas are consistently presented to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Check guest rooms and housekeeping standards to ensure quality and cleanliness.
- Coach and support members of the housekeeping team.
- Communicate clearly with colleagues and other hotel departments.
- Respond to guest needs and special requests.
- Arrange special room setups when required.
- Provide additional guest supplies and coordinate their delivery.
- Assist with moving furniture and other room requirements.
- Organise or carry out deep cleaning when necessary.
- Support special occasions and individual guest requests.
- Maintain high standards of timeliness, cleanliness and attention to detail.
- Work flexibly in a fast-paced hotel environment.
