✨ About the Role
The Parish of Spanish Place is looking for two Parish Cleaners to help maintain cleanliness and hygiene across several parish properties, including:
- The Church
- The Sacristy
- The Rectory
- The Parish Office
- Social and community areas including the Parish Centre and Choir Room
You will be responsible for general and deep cleaning, supporting event setups, and maintaining hygiene in communal areas such as toilets, stairwells, and kitchens.
🧽 Key Responsibilities
- General cleaning (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing)
- Cleaning brass altar railings and high surfaces on a rotational basis
- Emptying bins, recycling, and appropriate waste management
- Regular deep cleaning of kitchen appliances and communal areas
- Maintaining high hygiene standards in the Parish Centre, kitchen, and toilets
- Support with cleaning before and after parish events
