The Role
We are looking for a motivated and friendly Restaurant Assistant to support our front-of-house team and help deliver an outstanding dining experience for our guests. This is a hands-on role that plays a vital part in ensuring smooth and efficient restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Restaurant Assistant, you will:
- Deliver food and drink orders promptly from the kitchen and bar to guests
- Operate the POS system and process payments accurately
- Keep buffet stations fully stocked, clean, and visually appealing
- Clear and reset tables efficiently for incoming guests
- Welcome guests at the door and seat them in the appropriate areas
- Provide friendly, professional customer service and assist with guest requests
- Maintain cleanliness across the restaurant, including service stations and buffet areas
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in hospitality is preferred but not essential
- A positive, friendly attitude with strong customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and health & safety (training provided if required)
