The Role
We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Coffee Shop Assistant to join our team. In this role, you’ll help create a warm and inviting environment while delivering excellent food, drinks, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
As a Coffee Shop Assistant, you will:
- Welcome customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service
- Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, snacks, and light meals to a high standard
- Operate the till and process payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the coffee shop, including tables, counters, and equipment
- Assist with restocking and organising supplies
- Respond to customer questions and accommodate special requests
What We’re Looking For
- A positive, friendly attitude with a passion for customer service
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail, particularly with food preparation and hygiene
- Previous experience in hospitality or a coffee shop is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided
