About the Role
SRMG Limited is seeking a motivated and results-driven Retail Store Manager to lead daily store operations and deliver an outstanding customer experience. This role is ideal for a strong leader with retail management experience and a solid understanding of the food retail sector. You will be responsible for driving sales, managing staff, and ensuring the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and compliance with company standards.
- Lead, train, and motivate store staff to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.
- Monitor stock levels, control inventory, and minimise waste, with particular attention to food rotation and freshness.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality regulations.
- Drive sales performance through effective merchandising, promotions, and customer engagement.
- Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly and building long-term relationships.
- Prepare sales reports, manage budgets, and control operational costs.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of the food retail industry, including food handling and hygiene standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-management skills.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Comfortable using retail systems and basic reporting tools.
