About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Evening Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team at The Rubens at the Palace, a stunning five-star hotel in the heart of London’s Victoria, within walking distance of Buckingham Palace.
In this role, you will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction while supporting and developing your team. Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and check guest rooms to maintain high standards
- Train, motivate, and support team members
- Allocate sections to Room Attendants and assign porter duties
- Input and monitor room status in the computer system
- Assist with control and issuing of keys
- Prepare rotas to ensure adequate staffing
- Supervise housekeeping team members directly
What We’re Looking For
- Previous housekeeping and team supervision experience
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to train, support, and motivate staff
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and health & safety standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional approach to guest requests
- Flexibility with shifts and working hours
