About the Role
Provide Education & Teachers UK are currently recruiting for a School Cleaner to work at a partner school in Swadlincote on a temporary ongoing basis, with the potential to become permanent.
This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming learning environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitising classrooms, offices, corridors, and communal areas
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Cleaning and disinfecting washrooms, replenishing supplies
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste and recyclables
- Cleaning windows, mirrors, and surfaces
- Supporting deep cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning and floor polishing
- Maintaining high hygiene and safety standards at all times
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Previous cleaning experience (school or commercial preferred but not essential)
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
