Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks efficiently using POS systems
- Engage with guests, take orders, make recommendations, and ensure satisfaction
- Handle cash accurately and process payments correctly
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area according to food safety standards
- Restock supplies and ensure bar equipment is functioning properly
- Assist in setting up for events, banquets, or catering functions
- Monitor guest behaviour and promote responsible drinking
- Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth operations during busy periods
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hospitality, fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple orders efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of food and beverage safety standards
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing
- Experience serving alcohol responsibly according to regulations
- Flexible to work nights; experience in nightlife or catering is a plus
