About Us
MAPLE is an exciting new brunch café opening in March in Coventry. As we launch this fresh concept, we are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to support our busy brunch service and grow with our expanding restaurant group.
The Role
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth kitchen operations during service. You’ll support the chefs, help maintain high hygiene standards, and contribute to delivering a great customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs during busy brunch service
- Prepare ingredients and carry out basic food preparation tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen
- Wash utensils and equipment, ensuring hygiene standards are met
- Support stock rotation and assist with deliveries
- Follow food safety and health & safety procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a busy café or restaurant kitchen preferred
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexible availability
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
