About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join the Operations Team at Painshill. The successful candidate will have previous cleaning experience and take pride in maintaining high standards across our facilities and buildings. This varied role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a good understanding of health and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high cleaning standards across all facilities and buildings as directed by the Facilities Manager
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks within agreed timeframes
- Support deep cleaning projects as required
- Manage and prioritise cleaning requests effectively
- Assist in developing and maintaining the site’s cleaning programme
- Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are adequately stocked and maintained
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments and COSHH guidelines
- Assist with events when required
- Work collaboratively with volunteers and the wider Operations Team
- Provide courteous and professional communication with visitors and colleagues
- Promote the organisation’s values and maintain high standards of customer service
- Participate in training and development opportunities
Person Specification
Essential:
- Previous cleaning experience
- Comfortable with manual handling
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong sense of pride in maintaining high standards
Desirable:
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations
- Full UK Driving Licence
