We are seeking a dedicated and supportive Teaching Assistant to join our multicultural, three-form entry primary school. You will play a key role in helping pupils achieve their full potential by providing learning support, promoting inclusion, and assisting teachers in creating an engaging classroom environment.
📌 Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with learning programmes, including EAL and SEND students
- Contribute to and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Mentor students 1:1 and in groups; lead booster and intervention sessions
- Observe, record, and provide feedback on pupil progress
- Assist with lesson planning, curriculum materials, and classroom displays
- Support behaviour management and pastoral care
- Supervise pupils during lunch, playtime, and trips
- Cover lessons and assist with whole-class teaching as required
