About the Role
Opa Bath Restaurant is looking for friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Waiters/Waitresses to join their team. In this role, you will help create a great dining experience by providing attentive service and ensuring guests feel welcome and well looked after.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat guests with a friendly attitude.
- Take food and drink orders using POS systems and communicate them to the kitchen.
- Serve meals and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards.
- Check on guests during their meal and respond to any requests or concerns.
- Clear and reset tables while keeping the dining area clean and organised.
- Handle payments and manage cash transactions accurately.
- Support team members during busy periods with other front-of-house tasks.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a busy restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is helpful.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Basic maths skills for billing and cash handling.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
