About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Laundry Assistant to join our team. This hands-on role involves managing daily laundrette operations, handling garments with care, and delivering excellent customer service. It is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and taking responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial washing and drying machines
- Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold laundry items
- Perform wet cleaning of garments (training provided if required)
- Prepare and label dry-cleaning items accurately
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Coordinate with delivery drivers when needed
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Assist with parcel handling (Evri, DPD, DHL, APC), including logging and customer distribution
- Carry out occasional collection/delivery duties (not mandatory)
Essential Requirements
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
- Strong attention to detail, especially in garment care
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible
- Comfortable with manual handling and standing for extended periods
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience in a laundrette or dry-cleaning environment (preferred but not essential)

- 9:00am – 2:30pm
