About the Family
A warm and welcoming family in Muswell Hills is seeking an experienced, caring, and enthusiastic nanny to join their household. You will play a key role in nurturing their 2-year-old son, creating a safe, engaging, and loving environment that supports his development during these crucial early years.
Role Overview
As the family’s nanny, you will provide full-time care and support for their toddler, fostering his growth through play-based learning, age-appropriate activities, and consistent routines. Your focus will include childcare, developmental activities, and ensuring the child’s safety and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily care including diapering, dressing, and potty training
- Prepare healthy snacks and maintain a clean, organized play area
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development
- Encourage gross and fine motor skills through active play and creative activities
- Support language, cognitive, and social-emotional development
- Read, sing, and engage in interactive play
- Take child on outings to parks, playgroups, and other child-friendly locations (weather permitting)
- Communicate regularly with parents on progress, activities, and wellbeing
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience caring for toddlers
- NVQ Level 2 in Childcare preferred
- Certified in infant/child CPR and First Aid
- Excellent communication skills and reliability
- Energetic, positive attitude with a genuine love for working with children
- References from previous families
- Enhanced DBS check (within the last year or on the update service)
