Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Assistant to join our team. You will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and organization by ensuring garments, towels, and bed linens are washed, cared for, and returned accurately. Your work will directly contribute to the comfort and wellbeing of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash, dry, and return clothes, towels, and bed linens, carefully following garment care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked laundry room.
- Monitor laundry supplies and alert the Operations Manager before stock runs low.
- Follow appropriate procedures when handling soiled or infectious linen.
- Support the team by maintaining a professional and positive working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar laundry or housekeeping role.
- Ability to build positive, professional relationships with colleagues.
- Good personal presentation and conduct.
- Willingness to participate in training and development opportunities.
- An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required.
