About the Role
We are looking for a dependable, proactive, and approachable School Keeper to support the smooth day-to-day operations of a busy school environment. This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and takes pride in supporting both staff and students.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with setting up for school events such as exams, assemblies, competitions, and daily activities
- Receive, log, and distribute incoming post, parcels, and internal communications
- Manage and deliver stationery and supplies across departments
- Handle deliveries of stock and ensure proper storage
- Keep school minibuses clean, organised, and ready for use
- Carry out weekly maintenance checks on school vehicles
- Arrange MOTs, servicing, and transport of vehicles to garages
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas, including the back yard
- Deliver items to students when needed (e.g., lunches, school bags)
- Provide general facilities and site support as required

- Previous experience in a similar role or relevant transferable skills
- Practical, organised, and flexible approach to work
- Ability to handle and move heavy equipment when required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt
Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
