We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Care Assistant to join our daytime care team. In this role, you will support residents in a care home setting, helping to ensure their comfort, dignity, and overall wellbeing. Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities, including personal care and mobility
- Support individuals in maintaining independence and dignity
- Follow personalised care plans tailored to each resident
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain accurate care records using IT systems
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, residents, and families
- Help with light household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
Requirements
- Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential (full training provided)
- Good spoken and written English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic IT skills for record-keeping
- Caring, patient, and compassionate nature
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
